Diablo 4 Season 5 Helltides has received new adjustments. Not only has the gameplay experience been greatly enriched, but the Unique Mythics visual effects have also undergone new changes.
Helltides is a timed event in Diablo 4 that players can participate in after completing the game's main campaign. When the main campaign is completed, players will receive a notification that Helltides is ongoing in Diablo 4. As an important part of Diablo 4's endgame, Helltides gives players a new reason to explore the Sanctuary area they visited before. As early as Season 4, Helltides has been changed to make this end-game event more interesting.
Now, Diablo 4 is preparing to make more adjustments to Helltides at the beginning of Season 5. Now let's take a look at what's new with Helltides in Diablo 4's S5:
- Change 1: In Diablo 4 Season 5, Unique and Mythic Uniques will drop from Tortured Gifts (also known as Helltide Chests).
- Change 2: According to Wowhead, Blizzard will introduce new visuals to make it easier to identify Diablo 4's Unique Mythics when they drop and when players have them in their inventory.
- Change 3: Players can find Unique and Unique Mythics in Whisper Caches in the Purveyor of Curiosities and Tree of Whispers.
- Change 4: With Season 5, Murmuring Obols have been removed from Tortured Gifts. Diablo 4 will significantly reduce the time it takes to complete Whisper bounties and update the icons to make them more consistent with other Whispers.
- Change 5: The drop rate of Baneful Hearts will be adjusted. The chance of dropping a Baneful Heart from Tortured Gifts starts at 13%: Each time you don't get one, the chance goes up. Once you get one, the chance resets to 10%. The chance of dropping a Baneful Heart from Hellborne and Helltide Assassins is 1%: Each time you don't get one, the chance goes up. Once you get one, the chance resets to 2%.
This adjustment makes the Helltide experience more engaging, while also addressing the issue of players repeatedly having issues with game items through visual adjustments to Unique Mythics colors. These are the adjustments that Diablo 4 brings to Helltides as Season 5 arrives.
